Netchemia Announces Rebranding of SchoolRecruiter to TalentEd Recruit & Hire
01.03.2012 - Prairie Village, KS
Product alignment under the TalentEd umbrella creates the first talent management
software suite specifically developed for K-12 school districts
Netchemia, developer of talent management software for K-12 school districts, announced that leading applicant tracking and hiring software SchoolRecruiter is officially renamed TalentEd Recruit & Hire. This rebranding unifies the cloud software product with Netchemia’s TalentEd suite of talent management software.
TalentEd Recruit & Hire now joins TalentEd Perform in a software platform built to help manage the data and processes that human resources and school administrators use to ensure that their schools are providing the best teachers and staff available to their students. TalentEd Perform, also a cloud-based software, allows school districts to automate the teacher evaluation processes that they utilize, including walkthroughs and observations. Districts across the country have increasingly turned to technology to cut costs and increase their efficiency. In addition to those benefits, TalentEd fits the employee management needs of districts wanting greater control of their recruiting, hiring, and performance evaluations. “To us, talent management for our school district is more than interrelated activities that keep our schools staffed with employees,” said Nancy Biggs, Director of Human Resources at Lincoln Public Schools. “The TalentEd products correspond with our vision of an integrated talent management program that identifies the best teachers and staff for our schools, and then gives us the ability to evaluate their growth and development using the evaluation framework that we feel is most effective.” TalentEd creates efficiencies for central office staff, but also makes the hiring and evaluation experience easier for teachers and staff within the district. “I love TalentEd because it helps to make teachers' lives easier,” said Ivy Nelson, Teacher in the Monett School District in Missouri. “It is so quick and simple to log in and check all your evaluations, and it helps to greatly decrease paperwork.” The new product alignment creates a talent management software platform specifically for K-12 education, which previously did not exist. “Aligning SchoolRecruiter with our TalentEd brand is an important step toward achieving our vision of creating a comprehensive suite of talent management software,” said Carlos Antequera, CEO of Netchemia. “TalentEd gives school administrators and HR leadership the tools they need to impact student outcome through exceptional recruiting, hiring, and evaluation of teachers and other school staff.” For the hundreds of school districts nationwide that currently use SchoolRecruiter, the only change they will notice initially is the new name and logo. “Customers who are accustomed to the convenient time- and cost-saving benefits of SchoolRecruiter will be pleased to see that there are no structural changes with the rebranding to TalentEd Recruit & Hire,” said Antequera. “We hope it is an exciting change for them as the online solution they began using singularly is now a part of something bigger and more powerful for their school district.”About Netchemia LLC
