Netchemia Announces Official Release of netRTI Software

01.15.2008 - PRAIRIE VILLAGE, KS

Solution offers a proven way to effectively manage the entire response to intervention process in K-12 districts

Netchemia™, provider of web-based management software solutions for K-12 districts across the nation, announces the official release and general availability of the Response to Intervention Management Solution, netRTI.

netRTI™ provides a consistent district-wide framework to accurately track and monitor student progress. Through the use of netRTI, teachers and administrators can gauge intervention effectiveness, improve student achievement, help struggling learners and make better eligibility decisions.

Though Response to Intervention (RtI) is a new concept for most of America’s school districts; Netchemia has been researching and developing netRTI in collaboration with numerous leaders in K-12 education for over two years.

netRTI has been tested and proven as a successful progress monitoring and tracking solution in K-12 districts including all 17 school districts within the High Plains Educational Cooperative of Kansas, and the Liberty School District of Missouri.

“I truly believe netRTI is the future of individual learning plans. Everyone always wants proof and documentation, this system is the answer to those demands,” said Assistant Director of High Plains, Marcy Fierstein.

Numerous additional educational organizations have already expressed interest in signing on with netRTI, joining the growing community of districts looking to create a simplified and effective way to manage RtI.

netRTI offers fast and easy implementation into school districts through an “easy to learn, easy to use” program layout. The highly configurable design of the system allows district administrators straightforward access to tailor the system to their needs.

Since netRTI is not tied to any specific intervention or assessment programs, teachers are free to use programs, tools and guides that best suit the child or situation. This encourages the documentation of student response based on scientifically validated interventions.

All scores and corresponding data are then recorded in the netRTI system to manage and measure goals, progress and plans. Cumulative data with dynamic graphs is made available online or in a simple printable document.

This organized free-flow of information allows teachers to effectively communicate the child’s individual education plan to administrators, teachers and parents. These teaching teams are then able to monitor progress frequently to quickly identify and successfully intervene in the education of struggling students.

Key Benefits of netRTI:

• Provides a consistent framework/approach for tracking and monitoring student intervention information

• Follows a generally accepted three-tier intervention model

• Aggregates all baseline assessment data

• Creates a step-by-step approach to successful individual learning plans

• Tracks individual, segmented and district-wide student information

• Produces dynamic graphs to illustrate student goals and progress

• Allows educators to choose any interventions or assessments to best suit the child and situation

• Offers secure access from anywhere the internet is available
